Are the SUVs automatic?

Yes, every SUV in the fleet is an automatic.

Can I leave Bogotá with the SUV?

Yes. Driving anywhere in Colombia is included and mileage is unlimited in and around Bogotá; on long trips a daily limit is agreed when you book. The car cannot leave Colombia.

Can I pick it up at the airport?

Yes. We hand the car over at El Dorado International Airport, International Terminal (Muelle Internacional), level 2, exit 1, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Outside those hours we still deliver; we arrange it on WhatsApp around your flight.

What documents do I need to rent a car in Bogotá?

Your passport (or your Colombian ID card, if you are Colombian) and a valid driver's license, and both must be from the same country: a US passport with a US driver's license, or a Colombian ID card or passport with a Colombian license. You must also be 25 or older; no minimum time holding a license is required. In Colombia a foreign license is valid for tourists for up to 6 months (Law 769 of 2002, art. 25) and no International Driving Permit is required. What is added to the daily rate?

Full coverage insurance is added to the daily rate: it is 10% of the vehicle's rate. You also leave a security deposit, whose amount depends on the vehicle: it is paid when you pick up the car and returned 12 to 15 business days after you hand it back. The booking is confirmed with 30% of the rental price.
