How each payment works
- Security deposit: the amount depends on the vehicle and you pay it when you pick up the car. By bank transfer (Davivienda, Bancolombia), digital wallet (Nequi, Daviplata, Dale, NuBank) or credit card, at a card terminal or with a payment link.
- Booking: confirmed with 30% of the rental price. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club, American Express, Nequi, PSE, Daviplata, Bre-B, Bancolombia and bank transfer; confirm on WhatsApp which one suits you best.
- Cash: the deposit is not received in cash; this way the payment is on record and we return it the same way.
How much comes back, and how
The deposit is returned 12 to 15 business days after you hand the car back, counted from the next business day. Paid by bank transfer or digital wallet, 100% comes back; by card, the net amount received after taxes. It is returned by transfer to a bank or wallet in Colombia, by PayPal, by MoneyGram or similar, or to another person’s account with your prior authorization. Everything about the deposit.
If the payment comes from someone else’s account, send us with the payment the origin account number and the bank, the account holder’s details and their name, ID number, phone, address and email.

What you need to rent
- Be at least 25 years old. No minimum time holding a license.
- Your passport (or Colombian ID card) and your driver's license must be from the same country: a US passport with a US license, or a Colombian ID card or passport with a Colombian license.
- A valid driver's license. A foreign one is valid for up to 6 months (Law 769 of 2002, art. 25).
- Full-coverage insurance: added to the rate, worth 10% of it. It includes 24/7 roadside assistance.
- A deposit that depends on the vehicle, paid when you pick up the car by bank transfer, digital wallet or credit card and returned 12 to 15 business days later. The booking is made with 30% of the rental price.

- Can I rent a car in Bogotá without a credit card?
- Yes. The deposit is received by bank transfer to Davivienda or Bancolombia, or through Nequi, Daviplata, Dale or NuBank, and if you pay that way we return 100% of it. The booking (30% of the rental) is confirmed through the methods we accept: Nequi, PSE, Daviplata, Bre-B, Bancolombia, bank transfer or card.
- Can I pay the deposit with Nequi or Daviplata?

- Do you accept cash?
- The deposit is received by bank transfer, digital wallet or credit card. This way the payment is on record and we return it the same way.
- When do I get the deposit back?
- 12 to 15 business days after you hand the car back, counted from the next business day.
- What documents do I need to rent a car in Bogotá?
- Your passport (or your Colombian ID card, if you are Colombian) and a valid driver's license, and both must be from the same country: a US passport with a US driver's license, or a Colombian ID card or passport with a Colombian license. You must also be 25 or older; no minimum time holding a license is required. In Colombia a foreign license is valid for tourists for up to 6 months (Law 769 of 2002, art. 25) and no International Driving Permit is required. If your situation is different, message us on WhatsApp before booking.
- What is added to the daily rate?
- Full coverage insurance is added to the daily rate: it is 10% of the vehicle's rate. You also leave a security deposit, whose amount depends on the vehicle: it is paid when you pick up the car and returned 12 to 15 business days after you hand it back. The booking is confirmed with 30% of the rental price.
