Tolls leaving Bogotá by car: 2026 rates for each way out

Short answer: leaving Bogotá by car costs from 16,100 COP (about US$5) in tolls each way for a passenger car (category I). That is the first toll on the northern and southern exits; Siberia, on Calle 80, is 16,300 COP. Further out, each route adds its own tolls.

This guide gathers the 2026 rates published by the concession companies for the four exits most used for day trips and road trips: Autopista Norte, Calle 80, Autopista Sur and the road to Villavicencio. Tolls are paid in Colombian pesos, so the tables show pesos with the dollar equivalent.

Northern exit: Autopista Norte

This is the way to Chía, Zipaquirá, Guatavita, Suesca, Tunja and Villa de Leyva. The first toll is Andes, which rose to 16,100 COP on July 1, 2026 under the Accesos Norte project, with gradual increases planned through July 2027. It is charged in both directions.

Western exit: Calle 80

Calle 80 leads to Siberia, La Vega and Villeta. The first toll is Siberia, at kilometer 9 of the Bogotá–Villeta road; further along the same road is Caiquero.

Southern exit: Autopista Sur

This is the way to Fusagasugá, Melgar and Girardot, the weekend route to warmer weather. It has two tolls, Chusacá and Chinauta, at these rates since January 16, 2026:

Before heading to the Llanos, check road conditions with Invías: it is a mountain road with closures for roadworks or rain.

How to budget for tolls on a trip

• Count every toll on the way out and on the way back. Andes is charged in both directions; for the others, each concession publishes which direction each station charges, and counting them twice keeps you covered.
• Carry cash in Colombian pesos to pay at the booth.
• Ask at pickup whether the car has an electronic toll tag. Anything charged through the tag is deducted from the deposit, like the other rental expenses.
• Rates are adjusted every year, usually in January; Andes also rises in stages through July 2027.
